Greetings and Salutations!  My name is John Passmore, Jr., and I am excited to serve as your State Secretary for the 2009-2010 school year!

Born and raised in Wadley, Georgia, I am a 2003 graduate of Jefferson County High School.  From there, I attended Mercer University as a Pre-Med Mathematics student.  After moving to Albany, I decided to continue my education at Albany Technical College as a Business Administrative Technology (BAT) student.  I will complete the diploma program this quarter and have enrolled in classes for Winter Quarter 2010 to begin completion of my Associates degree.

At Albany Tech, I serve as an ambassador for the college, member of the Student Christian Fellowship, the BAT student representative for the Student Government Association, and president of Phi Beta Lambda.  I also serve as a supplemental instructor in the areas of Introduction to Computers, Advanced Word Processing, and Presentation Applications.

In the community, I am a dedicated member of Rhema Word International Ministries.  I also serve as a volunteer for Standup Again Ministries, Habitat for Humanity, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the American Heart Association, and Big Brothers, Big Sisters of America.

I am married to my best friend and the love of my life, Mrs. Wendolyn Giles-Passmore, Jr., and anticipate kids in the near future.

I am excited about the upcoming year for GA PBL!  Please take a moment and peruse the website, familiarize yourself with our goals, and do all you can do to make those goals become reality.  I am proud to be a member of the premiere business organization for students, Phi Beta Lambda.  Together, we are “Simply the Best!”
